These are unprecedented times. Help us help them!

As the days of the social distancing drag on, the thought of what normal will look is unclear. A few things are clear, our member's and their families still need the services we provide. They still need the costs to be affordable, even as they struggle with their own financial security, they are struggling to understand what the school year will look like and they are struggling with how their own jobs will be affected. We struggle to understand how we will continue to operate. We have always tried to be strategic in our fundraising efforts, we have tried to ensure the best time for our donors and the "biggest bang for our buck". However, for many of our events social distancing rules are at odds with our bottom line.

We at the Fallon Youth Club have to think about our kids and families, but like so many other businesses, we still have to think about the bottom line. We have had to cancel scheduled fundraising events, redesign others, completely change our daily operations and many of our grant funds are linked directly to the number of kids we serve in a month. Through our limited enrollment efforts we have been able to access a small portion of the grant funds we have been awarded. The whole time many of our expenses are fixed and continue to mount.

I would ask that you consider supporting our work as we continue to support our community's most vulnerable.
